The vision of JT Skate School is to develop youth and communities through skateboarding. 

The mission of JT Skate School is to help youth of all ages and skill levels in the DMV, especially those who lack resources and access, to learn skateboarding and use it as a tool to build life skills like confidence, perseverance, problem-solving, self-reliance, and contribute and be part of a healthy community. 

JT Skate School provides skateboard instruction to people of all ages and skill levels in the DMV area. Being responsive to a skater’s skill and  confidence levels, we use hands-on instruction to walk through each individual step on whatever trick or move we’re working on to help the skater reach their goals. JT Skate School founder and head instructor, Jordan Taylor has been a skate instructor in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia region since 2016, and a member of skate communities locally in DC and in Cuba, through his volunteer work with Cuba Skate.
